IFW '14

Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 was held from the 20th to the 23rd of February and I was asking here and there whether or not any of my family members could to give me the invitation to go there. I could go from the 21st but I was still pretty exhausted from working, so I decided to go home instead and go there for the last two days.

I can't really go into the details because in the middle of the show my camera died, so I'm just going to put random pictures from the fashion shows and the exhibition.

Sister by Sibling AW13

London Fashion Week has passed, but let's take a look at my favorite collection from the trio designers; Joe Bates, Cozette McCreery, and Sid Bryan. I've always loved knitwear especially in pastel.

The one and only Cara Delevingne opened the Paula Yates (Mother of Peaches Geldof)-dedicated fashion show. The whole collection  was basically inspired by her style. Also, the models are wearing black and white hi-top sneakers and different styles of beret with matching colors to the outfits.

These are my favorite pieces from the collection:

Sequin, Stripes, and Everything Nice

As one of London’s leading print masters, Jonathan Saunders' S/S '13 Womenswear collection is much anticipated as he showed his collection at the London Fashion Week. The garments are hung heavy and straight, as well as the metallic materials, which were inspired by "a Michael Clark disco girl". Jonathan Saunders created these astonishing disco-themed outfits with awesome cuts yet beautifully eye-popping materials such as sequins, glossy metallic fabrics, and textural prints. The pencil skirts, holographic metallic stripes, to the crop tops are the perfect combination to the outstanding setting of the Tate Modern Turbine Hall. The whole irresistible sequin and metallic fabrics definitely bring out the disco vibe.
