This holiday since I'm not going anywhere for vacation I decided to try to make some clothes and I succeed! The result came out just the way I visioned it. I didn't have enough time to make more than one cause unfortunately I only have 2 weeks of holiday (I know, it sucks) but I'm going to try to make more during the upcoming holiday and I'll make sure I'll post the pics and the patterns I made etc etc. And not only that, I also intended to make transparent clutches (one of them was Christopher Kane's Gel Clutch which I failed making it ha) and something holographic-y if that makes sense. Okay so let's begin with an oversized shirt I just finished. (Oh just thought you should know: Yes, I made it all by myself from scratch. That is, starting from making the pattern. And, I'm still learning to sew, so there's still some imperfections that I need to work on, plus I took the pictures by myself, so excuse my lack of expertise). Enjoy!
So I was looking around fabric stores to find the perfect fabric to make the shirt. I was very excited when I saw linen which is my all time favorite fabric. Linen is basically perfect for anything. Clothing, pencil case, book cover, etc etc. So I simply got three colors. Okay so without further ado, here are the pictures:
Special thanks to my friend Chika Armenia for willing to do this shoot :)
For the second part I'm just going to show the pictures, so here they are:
Neon transparent vinyl I used to make the clutch
Holographic Tote Bag
Saw this in the store and was super excited!! The lady at the store gave me the fabric samples of the holographic fabrics and the colorful transparent vinyl too :D (I will try to upload the pictures though)
My messy working table lol
That's pretty much what I did during the holiday, hope you like what you saw!
Bisous
